Angry Birds Star Wars 2 Revenge of the Pork Update Out Now for iOS and Android!

Surprise! Tune up those lightsabers and prepare for battle! A brand spanking new Angry Birds Star Wars 2 "Revenge of the Pork" (v1.8.0) update is now out for BOTH iOS and Android via Google Play (we don't see the update in the Amazon Appstore yet). This comes on the heels of amazing Star Wars Episode VII – The Force Awakens Trailer last week. Timely? We think so too!Also, a big thanks to Rovio for recognizing the Nest in level B5-8! Check out the screenshot in the gallery below. It says, "AB NEST"! Hurray!This update includes:
  • Battle across Geonosis and Mustafar in 32 new levels in the brand new Revenge of the Pork episode! There are 16 Bird Side and 16 Pork Side levels. All our Angry Birds Star Wars 2 walkthroughs are available here.
  • 16 new levels in the Master Your Destiny episode (walkthroughs) that are unlocked over time.
  • No new Reward Chapter levels, but our walkthroughs are here in case you need them.
  • No new characters If you want to see all the characters to date check out our characters guide.
  • 8 New Hidden Boxes to find scattered around the Revenge of the Pork episode. Our complete guide is up to date here if you need help.
  • All Angry Birds Star Wars II 3-star walkthrough videos! We also include Hidden Bonus Boxes, Treasure Maps, and much more.
  • Compete with the best players in the world by entering your scores on our Angry Birds Star Wars II leaderboard. For the first time ever in a mobile app, ALL SCORES ARE VALID. This includes scores obtained with TELEPODs and Character Swaps. However, please explain what characters you used on the walkthrough pages.

Angry Birds Go! Update Revamps Sub Zero for Christmas

On your marks! Get set! Ho ho ho! Angry Birds Go! v1.6.0 is now available for iOS and Android! The Angry Birds are going festive with this update, including:
  • Santa's Sleigh: Now available for free in the Sub Zero showroom. This kart is equal to its competitors when fully-upgraded, not super-natural. But it's still pretty cool!
  • Christmas-themed Sub Zero: Dash, dance, and prance your way through these holiday-packed tracks.
  • Some minor, miscellaneous bug fixes are also expected. Bugs aren't immune during the holiday season, after all.

Angry Birds Space Mirror Worlds and Brass Hogs Now Available!

While Angry Birds Space does not receive the most frequent updates, we have little to complain about today. We teased this update last week and now Mirror Worlds & Brass Hogs (v2.1.0) has landed! The update is currently available for iOS, Steam, and Android via Google Play.
Intergalactic super-villain Hektor Porko is hiding out in another dimension – The Mirror World. Take out his steampunk cronies in an all-new episode, Brass Hogs, to dive into the Mirror World and go face to mustachioed face with Hektor himself!
This update includes (a TON of stuff):
  • 30 new levels in the Brass Hogs episode! Our walkthroughs are available when you need them.
  • Mirror World! Every single level (except Eggsteroids and Danger Zone) now has a mirror! Each of these 260 levels is unlocked by 3-starring its "normal" equivalent. For example, if you've 3-starred Pig Bang Level 1-1, then Level M1-1 will be unlocked in the Mirror World! Or, if you don't want to 3-star all of the levels, you can unlock all Mirror World levels as an $5.99 in-app purchase. Simply click the shopping cart to check our all IAPs! Before you can play the Mirror Worlds you need to unlock them by beating level 9-2. Check out the video above for more details.
  • Leaderboard Situation: We will be discussing whether to create leaderboard entries for the Mirror levels. We will keep you posted.
  • Daily Missions! Each day there are 3 new missions, completing which will help you unlock more and more levels in Brass Hogs! For example, 5 completed missions are required to unlock Level 9-4... which is why you'll see "x/5" over its level icon.
  • No new Sardine Can levels, though our walkthroughs are available for past episodes if you need them
  • New Golden Eggsteroids? We don't think there are any in this update... But be sure to keep an eye out and check out our Complete Eggsteroids Guide.
  • Two new iOS achievements!
  • Wingman added to the cast of Power Ups. His ability is rather different than is "original Angry Birds" equivalent, but equally destructive!

Special Mini Froot Loop Bloopers Episode

In addition to all the new content above, this update includes a special mini Froot Loop Bloopers episode that features five Froot Loop themed levels. To access this episode tap the Froot Loops Bloopers icon above the Brass Hogs planet. In these levels the Space Eagle has been replaced by Toucan Sam, or, the Toucan Sam Highscore.Note, it appears that this is only available in the US. If you have any additional info please leave a comment below.Our walkthroughs for the Froot Loops Bloopers levels can be found here. We also added a leaderboard, but since not everyone has access to these levels we've disable entry. Angry Birds Seasons Ham Dunk: All-Star Update Out Now!

With the NBA All-Star Game just around the corner (February 13-15 in New York City), hang out with the immortal Larry Legend and his feathery relatives! Angry Birds Seasons Ham Dunk: All-Star (v5.0.0) is now available for iOS and Android via Google Play, with more platforms coming soon!This update comes with a decent amount of additional content, so let's get going!

This update includes:

  • 15 new levels added to the Ham Dunk episode! Some are themed around certain aspects of the All-Star Weekend, such as the Three Point Shootout and the infamous Slam Dunk Contest. Our walkthroughs are live if you need help.
  • New Golden Egg! There is one hidden in-game (please don't say here -- some people might want to find 'em themselves). Note: These new levels are not required to unlock the Big Basketball level. If you need help finding any of the Golden Eggs hidden in Angry Birds Seasons check out our complete guide.
  • Pig Days! 11 more levels added to the "Coming Soon" list! For a complete listing of which levels are released when, see our Pig Days Guide. The next level is set to be released for Valentine's Day, it seems. Note: Some users had issues with the "Cloud" download system last time, and it looks like it is being used again. Please let us know of any issues.
  • Return of the Mighty Spalding Basketball! These presented a very interesting challenge last time around, and we're sure they'll be no peewee game in this set of levels.
  • No new achievements for iOS, which is expected since the SD version is completely full and the HD version only has 4 points available.
  • Slam Dunk Bonus! Each bird or basketball which falls through the hoop counts -- no, not for 3 points -- but for a whopping 5,000 points!
Another minor addition is that once per level, the Shockwave Power-Up can be used for free. Just a friendly reminder the scores obtained using Power Ups are not permitted on our Leaderboards. And of course, the new app icon is sweet!

Angry Birds GO Update Adds “Party Mode”– Local Real-Time Multiplayer Over Wi-Fi

A brand new Angry Birds GO update is out now that adds local multiplayer over Wi-Fi -- AKA -- Party Mode! Check out the video above as my daughter and I take local multiplayer for a test drive.
No need to Go! it alone – Local Multiplayer is here! Grab a friend, get on the same Wi-Fi network, and go head-to-head in furious downhill kart races in the all-new Party Mode. The party's over here, y'all!

Getting Started

It's simple -- really simple. First, be sure you're all running v1.7.0 and are on the same Wi-Fi network. From there, tap the new blue local mulitplayer icon and either join an existing party (game) or tap "New Party" to host your own.If you decide to host your own you'll now be prompted to select a track. Note, if you pick a higher level track -- such as Stunt -- players will need to have a high enough Kart in order to join.Angry Birds GO Party Mode Local Multiplayer Select a TrackAfter you chose a track other players will see the option to join. Once they've joined you'll head to the track where you'll start your race. Good luck!

Notes

  • From what I can tell you can currently only race two at a time.
  • As I mentioned above, in order to compete in higher level tracks you need to have a kart with the appropriate amount of CC.

Angry Birds Seasons Tropigal Paradise Update Out Now!

The adventure continues! The Angry Birds are off for a spring break getaway to a remote pacific island! Angry Birds Seasons Tropigal Paradise (v5.1.0) is now available for iOS and Android via Google Play, with more platforms coming soon!
Note: There are reports that the iOS 5.1.0 update causes the game to crash. If this is happening to you try this. If it's not working leave a comment and let us know.

This update includes:

  • 26 brand new levels filled with water, lava, palm trees, coconuts and much more!
  • "Big Tiki" Golden Egg that is unlocked after 3-starring all levels.
  • Have you located the hidden Golden Egg!. If you need help finding any of the Golden Eggs hidden in Angry Birds Seasons check out our complete guide.
  • Pig Days! more levels added to the "Coming Soon" list! For a complete listing of which levels are released when, see our Pig Days Guide. Note: Some users had issues with the "Cloud" download system last time, and it looks like it is being used again. Please let us know of any issues.
  • No new achievements for iOS, which is expected since the SD version is completely full and the HD version only has 4 points available.

Angry Birds Seasons Crashing? Try this.

If you experience post-load crashing try the following steps after updating. We are not 100% sure, but there is a chance this crash is related to the glitch in Angry Birds Seasons Pig Days 3-11. Those that had the glitch happen seem to be the ones where the game is crashing.Initial Attempt: Running the app in Airplane Mode seems to allow users to at least play the game. You will not have access to the entire game (eg, portions that need to be downloaded from the Cloud), but you will at least have most episodes while waiting for a Rovio fix. But...!Very important: The following should only be done after updating the client to 5.1.0 (the new update which isn't live yet. As always, backup your local progress first just in case. We have a backup guide to help you with that.
  • In the game's main menu, open the "options" menu (lower left hand corner)
  • Tap the cloud symbol (delete cloud data), and tap 'ok' to the following popup. (this won't delete any progress data. just the data files associated with the level)
  • Go to the episode selector, and tap the 'pig days' (which should now come with a cloud symbol), and tap 'ok' or 'download' in the following popup.
  • After the game has downloaded the pig days data, the player can proceed to pig days and play the level.

With the NBA Finals starting tonight, Angry Birds Seasons Ham Dunk: The Finals (v5.2.0) is now available for iOS and Android via Google Play, with more platforms coming soon!This update comes with a decent amount of additional content, so let's get rolling!

  • Pig Days! 9 more levels added to the "Coming Soon" list! For a complete listing of which levels are released when, see our Pig Days Guide. The next level is set to be released in a few days. Angry Birds Update Adds New Levels To Flock Favorites

Angry Birds Flock Favorites (v5.1.0)! The update has currently landed for Android only via Google Play, with iOS and other platforms coming soon.This update includes:
  • 15 new levels, pulled from several past episodes! Play some of your favorite levels from Surf & Turf, Red's Mighty Feathers, Short Fuse, and more! Our walkthroughs will be live soon.
  • No New Golden Eggs. We didn't expect any is this update, but our complete guide is there if you need it.
  • Just a friendly reminder that Power Up Scores are not permitted on our Angry Birds (ABo) leaderboard. Using a "Shockwave Black Bird" that is given to you in the starting lineup is perfectly fine. It is only considered a Power Up if you click on the PU button (not available for PC, but just emphasizing).

The 2015 Formula One World Championship is in full swing, and is finally making it's way to Piggy Island. The Ayrton Senna Foundation dropped a surprise teaser video featuring Chuck as the legendary Formula 1 driver. Will the update include a new episode? Will Chuck have new abilities. Angry Birds Rio Introduces Birdcoins!

Angry Birds Rio Version 2.4.0 has landed on iOS and Android via Google Play, and introduces a new currency: Birdcoins

What we know:
  • Daily Rewards: Log in every day to receive birdcoins - up to 100 birdcoins on the fifth day!
  • Gameplay Rewards: Receive a birdcoin by getting 2 or 3 stars on any level that you play or replay.
  • Power Ups: Can be purchased with Birdcoins now.
  • Birdcoins can be used to unlock levels early (e.g. you don't have to 3 star or obtain all the feathers). This is especially useful for those players who don't use the Mighty Eagle much, as you can now unlock the feather bonus levels by using coins.

Oink! Bad Piggies received a surprise update (v1.7.0) today, adding a brand new episode called "The Road To El Porkado"! Out Now on iOS and Android via Google PlayFrom the Appstore:
A new episode begins – The Road to El Porkado!
This update includes:
  • 15 new levels in an Adventure-themed episode called The Road To El Porkado. Hold on to your hats, this episode is full of slippery icy surfaces and treacherous dark caves! Just like in previous episodes, there are normal "green" levels and bonus levels that require a certain number of stars to unlock. As a friendly reminder, don’t forget that you do NOT need to perform all three required objectives in a single run in order to obtain 3-stars on a given level. Our walkthroughs are Live!.
  • New Part: Slap the new lamp on your contraptions to see in the dark.
  • New Power-up: Night Vision Goggles. No problem finding your way in the dark with these bad boys.
  • Watch out for ancient pigs – They like to drop stuff.
